TerrAscend NJ has been issued a permit to process cannabis by the (NJDOH) to process, extract, and manufacture cannabis products.
Along with processing, it includes extraction and manufacturing a wide range of branded form factors. That includes vapes cartridges, concentrates, topicals, tinctures, and edibles under the Ilera Healthcare, Kind Tree, and Prism brands.
We are pleased to receive our processing permit from the NJDOH. We look forward to introducing TerrAscend’s house of brands and form factors to medical-use patients through our ATCs and the wholesale channel,” said Chairman and CEO of TerrAscend Jason Ackerman.
“Our medical cannabis business in New Jersey is performing well. We are prepared to meet customer demand once adult-use sales are permitted,” he added.
Cannabis Products Facility
TerrAscend’s 16-acre site is located in Boonton Township in Morris County. Construction of a 140,000 sq. ft. production facility is complete.
The first harvests are happening at TerrAscend’s 80,000-square-foot indoor grow facility. The first sales will be in the “coming weeks.”
The Boonton facility’s scaled growing, processing, and manufacturing will allow for the supply of a wide range of branded form factors to TerrAscend’s Apothecarium and other dispensaries across the state.
They have completed several harvests from its 40,000 square foot green house, with sales starting late last year.
TerrAscend’s Apothecarium has nine locations in California, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The second Apothecarium branded ATC is expected to open in Maplewood between April and June. It will be followed by an additional dispensary in the summer.
