Maplewood TerrAscend Apothecarium

TerrAscend is holding a job fair on Friday at the Maplewood library to staff their upcoming Apothecarium dispensary at 1865 Springfield Avenue in town.

Town Committeeman Victor De Luca promoted the job fair on social media. DeLuca said it would be Friday at the Hilton branch of the Maplewood Library from 11-3.

Maplewood Cannabis Job Fair for Apothecarium

At the 2021 Maplewood annual reorganization, Mayor Frank McGhee noted TerrAscend is opening a dispensary in the first fiscal quarter of the year.

They are seeking a General Manager responsible for executing retail operations by handling merchandise, staffing, and helping patients. They would work with the Director of Dispensary Operations.

A Senior Wellness Associate will handle patients greeting, paperwork, and handling orders. They also need to instruct them on the nuances of medical cannabis to make decisions about what to buy. A Wellness Associate would work for the sr and do much the same.

A Receptionist will provide friendly customer service and front desk services, while the senior staffers. They are also looking for unarmed security guards to ensure safety. The jobs are posted on Indeed.

Maplewood is a progressive, diverse community, so it makes sense a dispensary would open there.

TerrAscend currently operates the Apothecarium in Phillipsburg, NJ, on the Delaware River. They recently opened their indoor grow facility in January, which should provide quality cannabis to their upcoming Maplewood dispensary.

More dispensaries opening would be welcoming news.

A few other dispensaries are slated to open later this year. Stay tuned to learn more!
