Next week are two cannabis conferences in North Jersey focusing on Business 2 Business (B2B) issues in the emerging New Jersey cannabis industry.
The Cannabis Quality Conference is from Monday to Wednesday, and the Real Cannabis Entrepreneur Conference is on Friday and Saturday.
Cannabis Quality Conference Details
Commissioner Maria Del Cid-Kosso of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJCRC) will deliver a keynote presentation at the Cannabis Quality Conference (CQC). It’s at the Hilton Parsippany in Morris County at 1:00 PM on Monday.
Prior to being appointed by Governor Phil Murphy in February 2021, she was the Director of Policy and Legislative Services at the New Jersey Department of Health. It had jurisdiction over New Jersey’s medical cannabis program.
Following Del Cid’s keynote presentation is a panel discussion. It’s on The Future of East Coast Cannabis: Social Equity, Justice & Legalization will take place in the afternoon. Following that will be a panel on The Standardization State of the Union: Science-Based Resources for Driving Cannabis Safety. There will be an overview of the New Jersey cannabis marketplace to end the first day.
The second day will kick off with a Keynote titled Centering Equity in Cannabis Policy, Quality & Business. It will feature Toi Hutchinson, President & CEO of the Marijuana Policy Project.

The Real Cannabis Entrepreneur Conference on Friday and Saturday
New Jersey-based husband & wife team Gary & Marie George created the 2-day Real Cannabis Entrepreneur Conference (RCE) next Friday and Saturday at the Doubletree hotel by the airport at 128 Frontage Rd in Newark in Essex County.

Founders Gary & Marie George own an award-winning digital marketing agency Blazin Multimedia. It specializes in filling events for motivational speakers, authors, and business coaches and decided it was time to apply their expertise to cannabis.
