4/20 is upon us! April 20th is a special day for cannabis enthusiasts all around the world. There are many cannabis-related events taking place in New Jersey to celebrate the blossoming cannabis culture in the Garden State.
Known as “420”, this day has become synonymous with celebrating the cannabis culture and everything related to it. From music festivals to educational seminars, there are plenty of 4/20 events in New Jersey that take place every year. With the Garden State’s cannabis legalization rollout underway, 2023 has several quality events to choose from.
From networking, education, celebrations, and sesh parties, there are plenty of events to choose from for everyone to partake in the cannabis community this year.

1. Very Potent: A Cannabis Appreciation Festival
The 1st annual Very Potent cannabis appreciation festival will be held at a new outdoor art deco venue located in Jersey City, under a bridge, right outside of the Holland tunnel.
Attendees will enjoy a full day of food trucks, live DJs, live music, live art, cannabis education panels, yoga, games, contests, drinks, special guest performances, and more! taking place in the most diverse city in America, very potent displays the diversity in age and culture of the cannabis community.

3. The 2nd Annual NJ CannaPreneur Conference
The 2nd Annual NJ CannaPreneur Conference is focused on a holistic view of the industry with April 21st being a year to the day New Jersey legalized recreational sales in the state. New Jersey’s Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization (CREAMM) Act allowed for the legal sale and use of cannabis and cannabis products for residents 21 years and older. The adopted NJ-CRC rules established the recreational cannabis industry in the state.
This event will feature industry leaders sharing their expertise, insights, and lessons learned in and about the industry. They will discuss where the industry is going and what the opportunities coming out of this sector.
The 2nd Annual NJ CannaPreneur Conference is on April 21st between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room, Student Union Building (SUB), FDU Metropolitan Campus.
