The new Blur THC-infused seltzer drinks, which debuted in New Jersey dispensaries and liquor stores earlier this summer, are a great addition to the growing market.
They’re available in both dispensaries and liquor stores across New Jersey with 10 mg of THC in each can. According to the Blur drink website, they can be found across the Garden State.
The Blur Drinks are the latest to debut among the infused seltzers, which have become popular, especially among casual cannabis consumers.
Heady NJ was sent a few different drinks to sample and review. They’re refreshing, with unique flavors and names like Cherry Glow, Lemon Squeeze, and Cider Snap.
All of them would certainly be thirst-quenching after a salty snack.
Like other THC and hemp drinks, they are seltzer-based. But more than other THC drinks, Blur drinks taste like soda rather than a flavored seltzer.
Granted, they are very sweet with a good amount of sugar.
They are refreshing. It’s like drinking a beer.
The Cherry Glow Blur THC Drink
The Cherry Glow was very good and the best of the flavors.
Their Cherry Glow drinks are very good. It was crisp. The drink has a sweet tart in it, like other cherry-based foods. It’s sort of like drinking a Starburst cherry candy. They could give other cherry-flavored THC drinks in the market a run for their money.
The Lemon and Cider flavors were also pretty good.
Stone Hill Beverages LLC of Pennington in Central Jersey is the company making Blur Drinks. In July 2023, Stone Hill/Blur announced the NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) awarded them cultivation and manufacturing licenses on Insider NJ.
The issue of infused THC drinks being sold in liquor stores as well as New Jersey cannabis dispensaries remains an ongoing issue that many dispensary owners and their supporters are not happy about.
Liquor stores have much deeper pockets and more politically connected supporters in the NJ Legislature that have allowed them to sell weed drinks in their stores, along with the more heavily regulated dispensaries which have been increasingly become owned by locals, minorities and women.
