Uncle Beez Greeneryz Dispensary Opens in Penns Gove

Uncle Beez Greeneryz dispensary Penns Grove

The 100% minority-owned adult-use cannabis dispensary Uncle Beez Greeneryz recently held its Grand Opening in Penns Grove in Salem County in South Jersey.

It is a 3,300-square-foot “designer” dispensary offering products sourced from licensed New Jersey cannabis operators.

According to a release, it is focused on community investment and economic development in Salem County. Dr. Bryant Greene, a health care entrepreneur and dedicated philanthropist, founded Uncle Beez to expand access and opportunity in the cannabis sector.

Dr. Greene is the founder, owner and administrator of award-winning senior care franchise Always Best Care Senior Services of Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware Counties and the Main Line and Always Best Care Delaware. He is a public television and radio host, as well as the owner and operator of Uncle Beez Rescue Farm, a 13-acre nonprofit in south New Jersey that rescues and cares for unwanted horses, donkeys, and other animals.

According to NJ Biz Greene is known in the region as a leading franchisee with non-medical in-home care and assisted living referral services provider Always Best Care Senior Services. His team of over 1,000 caregivers covers parts of Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Greene also hosts his own weekly radio show in Philadelphia.

A press release from the law firm Dilworth Paxson said their team led by partners Kiliaen Strong and Christina Strong advised the client at every stage (pictured above with Greene). That included drafting and securing the state cannabis license, managing inspections and regulatory compliance.

The team also handled lease negotiations for an initial location, successfully secured a new dispensary site, and represented the client in vendor and contractor negotiations for the ground-up construction and design of the facility. The team also guided the dispensary through the development of compliant operations, including security and operations planning, and secured all local approvals by appearing before the Borough Council, Planning Board, and zoning authorities.

The NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJCRC) awarded them an annual dispensary license in March 2023.
