Sweetspot Cannabis Dispensary recently opened the latest in their chain with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Hamilton Mayor Jeff Martin (D) in Mercer County by Trenton.
“We are excited to be bringing more options for quality legal cannabis products to the people of Hamilton Twp,” said Harry Patel, owner of the Sweetspot Hamilton franchise. “We’re grateful to Mayor Jeff Martin for welcoming us, and we can’t wait to celebrate with the people of Hamilton Township this weekend.”
Sweetspot Hamilton hosted a full grand opening weekend celebration. Guests enjoyed 30% off featured brands all weekend long.
According to a press release, Sweetspot Hamilton is designed to feel welcoming from the moment guests walk in. The team is trained to take the pressure out of the cannabis shopping experience, tailoring recommendations to each visitor’s comfort level, and creating space for the conversations that turn first-timers into regulars.
“Whether you’ve never tried cannabis before or you know exactly what you’re looking for, we’re here for you,” Patel said.
Adults 21 and older can shop a curated menu of flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, vapes, and accessories from licensed New Jersey cultivators and manufacturers, with knowledgeable staff on hand to help both first-time and experienced customers.
“Sweetspot’s track record on the East Coast made this an easy decision, and we’re proud to bring their experience to Mercer County,” Patel argued.
NJ Cannabis Dispensary Chains Growing
Hamilton is Sweetspot’s fourth dispensary in New Jersey after locations in Mount Olive, Voorhees, and River Edge in South Jersey.
Sweetspot also operates licensed stores in Rhode Island, Maryland, Connecticut, and Vermont, making it a small Multi-State Operator (MSO) with nine dispensaries.
They are among the New Jersey adult-use cannabis dispensary chains sprouting up after the large MSOs that bought old medical licenses that came with approval for three places. The new independent chains include:
- HoneyGrove
- NJ Leaf
- Authorized Dealer
Others, like Simply Pure, Theory Wellness, and Toke Lane, which are near Sweetspot in Trenton, along with several others, are part of a small MSO but only have one location in New Jersey, so far.
