We have always been for a diverse, inclusive cannabis market with many local, female, and minority business owners, along with homegrow.
So, after years of politics and hard work, great progress has been made that deserves highlighting and celebrating during Women’s History Month!
It will be in Elizabeth on March 14th at the Lobby nightclub at 821 Spring Street off Route 1 near Newark Airport in North Jersey.

So Heady NJ Editor Dan Ulloa is going to host an episode of The Heady Chronicle show live!
The panel is going to feature Cannpowerment /ButACake CEO Matha Figaro, Bud2Bloom Dispensary CEO Ariel Mizrahi, Quality Cannablis dispensary Director of Community Engagement Wednesday Mayer, and CannaCoverage Insurance Services Founder & CEO and advocate with Minorities for Medical Marijuana (M4MM) of New Jersey advocate Nichelle Santos!
Matha has pioneered legal infused edibles in New Jersey, including pot brownies, several cookies, and churros through her underground legacy to legal ButACake brand!
Ariel has built a beautiful place at Bud2Bloom Dispensary in Netcong in Morris County, where cannabis hasn’t previously thrived, while selling quality products and fostering community. We featured her on our podcast!
Wednesday has gone from underground legacy to legal budtender to Director of Community Engagement at Quality Cannabliss dispensary in Blackwood! She’s also on the board of the Sativa Cross advocacy group!
Nichelle has been a Process Safety Manager in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and cannabis industries. She has also been a healthcare consultant for private and public entities, as well as a leading NJ cannabis advocate with M4MM. Nichelle has been specializing in insurance while Canna Coverage CEO.
Live Demonstrations Featured
We’ll also feature a fitness demo from Dawnlovestacos. She’s a self-taught pole dancer and Lead Budtender at Canopy Crossroad in Red Bank, NJ. Dawn blends her love for cannabis, creativity, and tacos into her unique expression.
In addition, Kira Russell will also host a social media workshop discussing cannabis through the lens of elevation and intention.
We’re also going to have a live demonstration on how to dab. It will be led by Tavia, aka Highheauxx, who is eager to share her insights on cannabis!

Helping people cultivate more awareness within their mind-body connections while enjoying life pain-free is a passion of hers.

We’re also featuring the Lost Chronic Organization. It’s a women-led nonprofit dedicated to restoring the truth about medical cannabis and its historic role in healing across cultures.
Noted cannabis entrepreneur and advocate Mario Ramos of I Bud You is also going to help promote and manage the event. And Auto HD Films will help us film the show and sell commemorative shirts!
