Garden Greenz dispensary in downtown Jersey City announced charitable donations of $45,000 to support two nonprofits at their 1st-anniversary party.
They donated $25,000 to Athletes for a Better Community (ABCKidz). The program founded by Charles “Mandy” Johnson Jr.. It is dedicated to empowering young athletes through mentorship, community engagement, and skill development. ABCKidz fosters positive youth development by using sports as a platform to teach essential life skills and build a brighter future for young participants.
In addition, Garden Greenz LLC has contributed $20,000 to Whole Spectrum Autism. Sherry Singh founded an organization that advocates for individuals and families affected by autism. Whole Spectrum Autism provides vital resources, education, and support to promote inclusion, acceptance, and opportunities for people on the autism spectrum.

The donations were presented during a special ceremony at Saigon Cafe at 188 Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ. Representatives from both nonprofits expressed gratitude for the company’s generosity and commitment to community development.
Mayoral candidates Hudson County Commissioner Bill O’Dea and Jersey City Council President Joyce Watermann were there to support them.

There was some controversy about their local license renewal. But it has since been approved by the Jersey City Cannabis Control Board (CCB), Markey told Heady NJ. The NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission renewed its annual license as well.
They recently had a 1-year anniversary party where they made the announcement.
Garden Greenz dispensary has a prime location on the downtown Newark Avenue pedestrian plaza in Jersey City. So, they have been among the dispensary owners who are very concerned about the distance between dispensaries.
