The CannUnity Culture Collective, a community-driven alliance led by Molly Ann Farms dispensary in Haledon, is having a $1 Stash Drop.
It’s going to be on Tuesday, November 18th beginning at 8:00 AM.
It’s first-come, first-served to the first 100 local customers. Eligibility is restricted to eligibility to residents of nearby Paterson, Haledon, and now Prospect Park in Passaic County in North Jersey.
They believe it will “strengthen the Collective’s commitment to culture, access, and community connection across neighboring towns that will benefit most.”
Eligible residents can purchase one mystery Stash bag containing a curated assortment of products donated by Collective partner brands.
Giving Back to Last Prisoner Project
Every Stash Drop supports the Last Prisoner Project (LPP) help restore justice to individuals affected by cannabis prohibition.
“Programs like the CannUnity Stash Drop show how the legal cannabis industry can drive real, community-level impact,” said Mary Bailey, Managing Director of the Last Prisoner Project. “Support from initiatives like this helps us fund the work of repairing the harms of criminalization. And advocating for people who remain unjustly incarcerated for cannabis.”
Expanding Access to Regulated, Tested Products
Quality cannabis shouldn’t be limited by price barriers. According to them, the Stash Drop ensures residents in surrounding communities can access legal, tested, safer cannabis for just $1, reinforcing the Collective’s belief in cannabis for all.
“Culture has always come first for Clade9, and the CannUnity initiative puts that value into action,” said Dave Holmes, CEO of Clade9. “This is about meeting people where they are, breaking down cost barriers, and making sure local residents can experience high-quality, regulated cannabis without feeling priced out of the legal market.”
Preserving Cannabis Culture
Honoring the roots of cannabis, its creativity, resilience, and community origins, through ongoing collaboration among brands that value authenticity is important to them.
“The roots of cannabis came way before us.” said Sammy Piazza of Full Tilt Labs. “Being part of CannUnity is about honoring the traditions, the culture, and the community that made this all possible for us today. This drop is in honor of that legacy, our small attempt to give thanks.”
Inaugural Drop Results Set Bar for Community Access
The first-ever Stash Drop was held on August 19th. They claimed it “set a new statewide benchmark for collaborative brand participation and equitable access to regulated cannabis.”
According to them:
• 14 NJ Cannabis brands participated, contributing products for compliant distribution.
• Stash bags increased from 100 planned to 160 delivered, meeting overwhelming community demand.
• Each bag contained ~20g equivalent of mixed product categories of flower, vapes, pre-rolls, and edibles.
• Bags had an estimated retail value of ~$200, totaling ~$32,000 in value provided directly to the local community.
The initiative raised over $750 for The Last Prisoner Project through customer contributions, matching donations from Molly Ann Farms, and product pricing proceeds.
